Meet Dr. Trillion Small
Dr. Trillion has a Ph.D. in Clinical Counseling and is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. Additionally, she is a Sport and Performance Psychology Consultant where she provides mental training for high performers from the locker room to the boardroom through her company, Nurturing Fit Brains. She incorporates some of the amazing content that she has gleaned as a Certified John Maxwell Leadership Coach. She retired from her adjunct professor position at the University of Texas-Dallas of 5 years and she was the Mental Performance Coach for 1.5 years for the Major League Rugby Team-Dallas Jackals.

She provides customized wellness & leadership development programs and curriculum [courses] as well as emotional intelligence corporate training. Additionally, she is the author of 6 books and the founder of her publishing company, They Speak Publishing.

She is also a TEDx Speaker. Her talk title is “Overcoming the Fear of Love”. She provides the psychological and neurological perspective of fear; particularly as it relates to love. She spoke at TEDxSMUWomen in 2018. Her talk has over 1.1 + million views, and counting.
Community Involvement
Trillion is the Texas lead of #Cut50, a national organization co-founded by Van Jones, CNN political commentator. She is also on the Advisory Board of Representative Colin Allred and a board member for Dallas Afterschool as well as AIM Court presided by Judge Brandon Birmingham under the leadership of District Attorney John Creuzot.
Trillion was a runner up for the 2019 Collin County Woman of the Year and she was recognized as Nashville's Black 40 under 40 in 2016.
Trillion is the Founder and Lead Organizer of TEDxFrisco. A non-profit initiative under TED to elevate the voices and stories of those in Frisco, Texas and the surrounding areas.
